Older stuff [Feb. 28th, 2007|07:32 pm]
While I'm at it, why not post stuff from last semester?

These are a couple of tone studies of Ruby, the dorm next to mine:

Now here are some pictures of the abstract thing that came out of the paper vice grip:

And finally, some stuff from the Hewlett class:

More stuff should be coming soon. I need to touch up the toothbrush and chipboard drawings. Plus, the pastel thing is due Monday. That should be cool.

3D pictures [Feb. 25th, 2007|04:15 pm]
Here are some pictures of my 3D project. Someone said it looked like a sunshine machine. I had to take it apart exactly twenty four hours after finishing it. C'est la vie. Fist is the small model.

And now the big. We had to use one by two's no shorter than six inches. They had to remain one by two, and we couldn't use glue.

And here it is being taken apart.

Renga pictures [Feb. 25th, 2007|03:49 pm]
Okay, so these are pictures from the Renga a few weks ago. Apparently, renga was the name for a Japanese party game, where people would take turns writing stanzas for a ghreat big poem. So what happened was we were divided into like six or seven or eight or ten (I don't remember) pairs. each pair would get half an hour and two big two by fours. And then we added the wood to what the previous group did. We wen for three rounds over two days, with the goal of making something you can step in. It's funny, as much as architecture makes a big deal out of sustainability, this was pretty wasteful. But it was still fun. By the way, I'm not sure why this is underlined. Oh well.

Testing. Testiing.
I've never had one of these before, but it might help in keeping track of my various projects.
